A few random things about Mexico that you gotta love:
Dogs barking at you from the roofs of houses half-way making you think they will actually jump off to bite you
The way the spaniards apparently covered as many pyramids they could with dirt then topped the "hill" with a church
The signs that say "No parking. We put holes in tires for free"
The way the culture has been influenced ever so slightly by the Arabic, French, and Spanish in cuisine and more!
Walking into supermarket bakeries and there being pastries, breads, cakes, cookies all out in the open air sometimes with flies on them sometimes little kids!
Walking by the local butchershop and seeing whole chickens laying there on the counter without their feathers but still with the head on staring at you with those beady eyes
The people standing at street corners trying to sell you all kinds of stuff, the guys who rush up to the car to try to clean your windshield and make you feel guilty and give them money before you have the chance to tell them you don't want them to
The industriousness of the people. Many more are entrepeneurs than you'd think!
The way there are still businesses that close for a 2 hour lunch
